For my research within school, i decided (with the help of my teacher) that three to four groups that could be used to gather data based on the questions i wanted to ask.
Group 1: was simply sending the google forms links throughout some of my friends and family, i found that this way i could gather a small set of data that was relatively trustworthy and i could also gather feedback on the questionnaire before i pass them out to larger groups - as expected with this method i got exactly what i needed, small sets of data and feedback.
For the most part it was just simple quality of life improvements towards the survey such as not numbering the questions and just referring to the previous question by saying 'the previous question' and also making sure that there was no formatting errors such as question not letting you pick multiple options
The goal of this method was reached and now i can begin to distribute the questionnaire to the other groups
Group 2: With the help of my teacher the next group was a few form groups that would hopefully gather me data between the range of 11 - 16, as lower school (E.G. Year 7 - 11) are in vertical form groups that require multiple people in different year groups to be present in one form
Results of data pending
Group 3: Again with the help of my teacher i will hope to send my questionnaire out to all of 6th form hopefully this can give a slightly different perspective to Group 2 (lower year)
Results of data pending
Group 4: group 4 will be comprised of teachers rather than students as to give an older perspective on video games and esports
