Small secondary research on script writing

I wanted to begin the process with YouTube as it is not only the platform in which videos are most popular but also a great place to get those tips as where is better than the source of those videos, i started with the search 'how to write a video script' i decided to watch the first video that appeared to get a good idea of where to start

This video gave a good idea on where to start as i felt as though using the word for word method that he describes allows me to keep on track along with updating later if i feel as though something would sound better, apart from that i feel like his explanation of a hook doesn't suit the video i wanted to make, i moved on and decided to refine my search

'How to write a video essay' i picked this because i felt some of the tips given might relate better to the specific style of videos i'm doing

While this video on base value holds little help it does steer me in the right direction, i feel as though using what he says i am on the right path for my essay and know that i am looking for my unique style within my work along with knowing to not rely heavily on what other creators have done. It also means i know how important research is and i should even in the script writing phase be looking to add extra research or case studies to the video

The next plan is to google 'how to write a video essay' specifically i'm not looking for anything new but instead looking for small tips that may help with the general process it could mean that i might not find anything too helpful however

While looking under the 'people asked' tab i did find an article titled 'How to Write a Video Script [Template + Video]'

The website included a nice template when looking to write a script and the website then goes to list each step individually and more in depth Screenshot from the website:

I feel as though this website will be helpful to refer back to as it will keep me on track and make sure that i understand the process of writing a script

Evaluation: As far as legitimacy of source both YouTube videos come from channels that make videos with the second one already specifically making film video essays, so i feel as though their advice and videos are a trustworthy source to use as a guide

For the website article it does seem to be fairly trustworthy with the website (in the about us section) mentioning 'Today, the inbound movement continues to empower businesses around the world to stop interrupting, start helping, and return their focus to the customer.' well it does feel as though they websites goal is to help companies it seems fairly easy to adjust their advise towards a personal project. Because of this i feel that they are trustworthy as it would be pointless for their company to damage others when their goal is to help
