As stated on my previous post i am going to be using this article to help me along while writing my script and also keep in mind the other previous YouTube videos as i write, first the website advises that we write a brief

Further down it states that a brief helps to 'document the answers to the most important project questions so everyone involved in creating the video can get on the same page. When you're three-quarters of the way through the editing process, and your boss or colleague wants to completely redo that whole shot where you demonstrate how your product solves a problem,
When pesky predicaments like this one stand in the way of progress you can just refer back to the brief that documents the goals and project plan your team mapped out together'
While this doesn't seem helpful at face value for a solo project actually it can be nice to refer back to to see whether i have talked about all the things i wanted to talk about and make sure that i reach all my goals of my video
The Brief:
With the brief the website states that 'there are several key questions it should include to craft an effective video script' so let's tackle each question one by one and come up with a suitable answer for each
What's the goal of this video? Why are we making the video in the first place?
I believe that the goal of the video is to introduce a topic to people who might not know about it and maybe inform people about the topic if they know of it but don't properly understand it, along with this it allows people who do know a lot to maybe learn something new and interesting
Who is the audience of this video?
The majority of the audience will be 16 and over with little to no understanding about the topic
What's our video topic?
The topic of the video is not only Esports but it's rise, popularity and effect along with a few personal stories
What are the key takeaways of the video? What should viewers learn from watching it?
The viewers afterwards should feel like they have an understanding of Esports even at the base level and should feel as though they have learned something
That as the brief should do as a baseline to refer back to if i don't know where to go or when looking back feel like i'm missing something
